Sometimes we need an infusion of magic. Of fresh. Of view. The sound of river water running. A dab of a rainbow horizon on our canvas. A place where wild birds and their music fly in and out of our thoughts while reading a book in the forest. A window into quiet, into calm, a place where there is centre.

Your hosts, Monica and Franc Grove, will share with you their enchanted home on the Pembina River!

If it’s natural beauty and stillness that you are looking for, you can wander over the creek bridges into the sun-dappled forest of Buchwald to explore the forest pathways, or you can walk around The Duck Loop encircling the duck pond. You can climb up to the top of Thomas And Emma’s Lookout for a breathtaking view of the landscape surrounding Sangudo. You can eat organic food grown in Karin's Garden and Oma's Orchard. You can sit by the river and do nothing at all, or you can fish, float, or paddle on it! You can have introductory sessions on the Celtic Harp and Violin, and tour the grounds learning of the medicinal properties of plants growing there. Or you can go on a customized tour of the surrounding area. With backgrounds in the arts, both visual and musical, your hosts will revel in conversation with you (in English, German, or French) – or, they will leave you to your rich and nourishing silence!
